What's the difference between Free and Pro?
Free includes all 9 actions, up to 10 files per run and 1 saved workflow. Pro removes both limits.
Is it a subscription?
No. Pro is a $29 one-time purchase.
Do my files get uploaded anywhere?
Processing does not upload selected files. License activation and optional support use external services; see the data handling details.
What can FolderNode do?
Images: resize, convert formats (JPEG / PNG / WebP), compress. Video: convert formats (MP4 / WebM / MOV / GIF), compress, extract thumbnails, strip audio. Plus batch renaming and sorting files into folders by type. Codec support varies, and compression can increase file size. See known limitations.
How many Macs can I use?
One person can activate up to two personally used Macs, including work devices. Keys cannot be shared with other people. Businesses need a license per user.
Are future updates included?
v1 updates are included and the purchased v1 license has no expiry. Future major versions are planned as optional paid upgrades with an existing-customer discount.
