Your first workflow

Try one image first. Create a WebP copy while keeping the original.

Before you start

Open FolderNode and prepare one test image. In Finder, create two folders named “Before” and “After”, and put the image in “Before”.

The free plan allows 10 files per run and one saved workflow. A small dedicated folder makes the first result easy to check.

Build the workflow

Choose “Convert to WebP”

On a new workflow, choose the “Convert to WebP” template. It connects an input, a conversion action and an output.

Choose the input folder

Select the Input node and choose the “Before” folder. Files directly inside that folder are processed.

Choose the output folder

Select the Output node and choose “After”. Converted files will be saved here.

Preview and run

With the default settings, clicking Run in the top-right opens a confirmation. Check that there is one input file and the destination is “After”, then start processing.

When the app shows that processing is complete, open “After” in Finder. A file ending in .webp means it worked.

Use it again

Rename the workflow at the top, for example “Convert images to WebP”. Edits are saved automatically, and you can reopen it from the left sidebar.
